Choose a child from one of Nairobi's children's homes, pack them a box, and drop it off in December. A simple way to make a child feel seen, valued, and loved.

How it works

  1. 1. Pledge a child

    Sign in with your email and choose a child. You'll see their first name, age and sizes.

  2. 2. Pack your box

    Follow the checklist below and add a handwritten card. Personal touches matter.

  3. 3. Label it and drop it off

    Print your label, tape it to the box and drop it off between 5–11 December.

Teens need love too. Older children are often the last to be chosen. Please consider pledging a teen.

What to pack

Everything new or in excellent condition, and right for the child's age.

  • Clothing that fits the child's age and gender
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Face cloth and a bar of soap
  • School stationery for their age
  • A fun toy or gift (safe, so no toy guns)
  • A sweet treat, for them or to share
  • A sturdy box, container or backpack to pack it all in
  • A holiday card with a kind note

5–11 December, at any of these. Full directions come with your pledge.

  • Extra love for the home

    If you can, add ugali flour, rice, dried beans or cooking oil, packed separately from the gift box. It goes straight to the home's kitchen.
